Subtracting Sardines App Reviews

My husband set this up on my computer for my 4 year old to use during our homeschool time. My 4 year old was thoroughly interested and I could see him counting the number of sardines left over. It is great to have an introductory math game for him. The older children wanted to get involved because it sounded so fun. Thank you.

Program does not allow you to easily exit and the mouse cursor remains invisible because of a script in the program. Mild annoyance. Good game otherwise.

This is a great app and my children enjoy it. The only thing I wish is that it would be Full Screen like Multiplying Acorns.

This is a great app, my grandchildren love it. I dont know what the previous rater is saying but you can easily exit on it by clicking on the menu bar. This also has full screen support. Thank you Mr.Hansen!

When my wife (who homeschools) dowloaded this app for free I was skeptical. Once I saw how well it worked and the fun visuals, it was obvious that this wasnt your average "free" app. We have been able to implement it into our 8 year olds curriculum and he loves it. It is so fun, we have actually been able to add this app as a reward, even though he hates math. Plus, he just told me to rate it 1800 stars.

This app although free is not going to work, here is why. This is a game. Games can be fun but with games come strategy. This game allows that to happen like many other games. My daughter five, beat all levels with all trophies. Great app right nope wrong. I asked her what 5-3 was? She didnt know. Well she beat the game but did not learn anything about math.

I am letting the students in my first grade class write this review. "Its fun because I like to do math a lot." "I love this game because it is easy for me!" "I like this game because its funny when the bones come out." "Its funny when the penguin says-Minus-in that funny voice." "When youre done with all the numbers, it does funny voices!"

i agree with another reviewer that had same experience, my 5 year old kept racking up the points, but she wasnt actually doing any subtracting. the game is flawed in that its crutches turn it into just a counting game. i had to handhold daughter to make her actually do the subtraction, but then it wasnt fun anymore doing it that way, she just wanted to get the trophies by counting. maybe your kid is different, give it a try if you think so.
